Welcome to Jamestown Elementary School! Our school serves approximately 300 students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade. Our staff and students take a tremendous amount of pride in our community, our programs, and our school.
The faculty and staff at JES works very hard to help every child to reach their greatest potential. In addition to core classes our students participate in art, physical education, music, library, and technology classes. At Jamestown Elementary we believe in giving children opportunities to grow and succeed while learning in a safe environment that is grounded in mutual respect.
We are fortunate to have a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) that supports our school by providing funding for a variety of opportunities which have a positive and lasting impact on the students at JES. We are very thankful to have a devoted group of parents who support our school.
We work diligently to provide successful programs to assist our students. We offer after-school tutoring and homework clinics that provide reading and math reinforcement, and we also offer a Student Assistance Program (SAP) which provides assistance for students in need of academic and/or behavioral supports.
At Jamestown Elementary School we are proud to provide an enriching environment in which children can learn and grow.
